Hi, I'm Daniel! A Houston Wedding Photographer serving couples in Houston, Texas and beyond

I work with couples who care deeply about how their day feels, not just how it looks – couples who value presence over performance, substance over trends, and photographs that will still feel honest decades from now. My approach is calm, observant, and intentional, allowing moments to breathe while shaping them into a refined visual story. The result is imagery that feels effortless yet elevated – timeless photographs that hold emotion, atmosphere, and narrative, created for those who want their wedding remembered as it truly was.

A Legacy of Photography

My roots in photography run deep. I grew up in Lancashire, England, where my father Paul Meadows was a wedding photographer and my mother worked in a print lab, carefully producing wedding albums by hand. Photography was more than just a family business – it was a shared craft, a way of preserving the most meaningful moments in people’s lives. Today, my work carries forward the legacy of Paul Meadows Photography, reimagined through my own lens.

In 2009 I began working post-production in commercial fashion and advertising photography in Britain and Europe, and have worked on campaigns for brands as varied as Louis Vuitton and Chanel to Nike and Adidas, before moving to the US and finding a calling for documenting and capturing real love stories. As a result of ten years of fashion campaigns I developed an eye for the striking and the dramatic that I aim to capture in all weddings, with a focus on a beautifully flowing narrative journey through your Wedding Day from start to finish.

Actively involved in the local wedding industry

I’m deeply involved in Houston’s wedding industry and have served as President of WIPA Houston (Wedding Industry Professionals Association), a role focused on supporting collaboration, education, and standards across the local wedding community.

WIPA Houston brings together planners, venues, designers, photographers and other wedding vendors who are committed to professionalism and quality. Serving in a leadership position within this organization reflects not only experience, but trust – from peers who plan and produce weddings at the highest level throughout the Houston area.

This involvement keeps me closely connected to the people and processes behind well-executed weddings, and informs how I approach my own work. It also means couples who work with me are choosing a photographer who is active, invested, and respected within the local wedding industry.

I am also a member in good standing and regular sponsor of NACE Houston (National Association of Catering & Events) and an Endorsed Wedding Professional of the AWP (Association of Wedding Planners).
