Houston wedding photographer Daniel Meadows recently received three Spotlight Awards from the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), recognizing documentary moments captured during real weddings. The WPJA Spotlight Awards celebrate authentic storytelling in wedding photography, highlighting unscripted moments that reveal the emotion, humor, and energy of a wedding day.

I’m honored to share that three photographs from recent weddings were recognized with Spotlight Awards from the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA).

Awards are always nice to receive, but the reason I care about these in particular is what they celebrate: real moments happening in real time on a wedding day.
